What is MCP?
Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard from Anthropic that lets AI assistants securely connect to external tools and data. Ragen connects to your tools through MCP connectors, and separately exposes its own assistants as an MCP server for external clients.
How much does Ragen MCP cost?
MCP integrations are part of Ragen – in the self-hosted variant you use them with no licence fees. Custom MCP work and rollout support are quoted individually as part of Enterprise – get in touch.
Deployment and support
How quickly can I get started?
Connecting a tool takes minutes: open Settings → Connectors and click Connect. Book a demo and we’ll walk you through it.
Are there any rate limits or quotas?
The Ragen API limits requests per IP address (10 per minute for chat and uploads, 20 per minute otherwise). Connector calls are also subject to each vendor’s own limits.
Is Ragen MCP secure?
Yes. Each person connects a service with their own account, OAuth tokens sit encrypted in a separate credential store, and platform admins decide which connectors each organisation can use. Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS).
Can I build on Ragen MCP as a developer?
Yes. Any MCP server can be added to your installation’s catalogue from the admin panel, and you can build your own connector – see docs.ragen.ai/integrations/build-a-connector.
Can I run Ragen MCP on-premise?
Yes. Ragen runs on your infrastructure, and you can add MCP servers running on your own network. Connectors to SaaS tools (HubSpot, ClickUp, Slack…) necessarily call that vendor’s servers.
